A graduate of McGill University, Montreal, Pamela Ann Weber, M.D. went on to Columbia University College of Physicians & Surgeons. Dr. Pamela Weber completed her Post-Doctoral training as a Resident in Ophthalmology at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary, NY. She completed her Fellowship in Vitreoretinal Disease & Surgery at Schepens Eye Institute, Mass Eye and Ear Infirmary, and Harvard University in Boston.
Dr. Pamela Weber is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology.

Dr. Weber has a special interest in Retinopathy of Prematurity and has participated in National Institute of Health funded multicenter studies including ETROP (Early Treatment of Retinopathy) and STOP-ROP (Supplemental Therapeutic Oxygen for Prethreshold Retinopathy of Prematurity). She served on the Executive Committee and the Outcomes Committee for STOP-ROP.
Dr. Weber has additionally been involved in national studies for diabetes, AIDS and macular degeneration. She is an Assistant Professor at SUNY Stony Brook. She is a consultant for Eyetech, Genentech, LPath and Ophthotech Technology.

James Soque is our retinal imaging specialist. He is a Certified Retinal Angiographer(CRA) and Certified Ophthalmic Assistant (COA). He assists in ophthalmic surgery as well. He serves on the Board of Education for the Ophthalmic Photographers' Society and is involved in lecturing on the Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT). He performs fluorescein and ICG angiograms, B-scans, Optomaps and OCTs. He is the Study Center Coordinator for two clinical macular degeneration trials. He is certified as a digital imaging specialist for the Fundus Photography Reading Center Wisconsin (FPRC-WI), and the Digital Angiography Reading Center of New York (DARC). He is a lecturer for Genentech.
Chery Behrendt is our office manager, surgical coordinator and billing representative. She is also an Ophthalmic Assistant and the Study Center Coordinator for ETROP.
Lucy Carucci is our Front Desk Supervisor, Ophthalmic Assistant, Lucentis, and Avastin Specialist. She is also the Certified Center Coordinator for the RISE Study.
Kim Kohler is our front desk receptionist.
Anne Marie Smykowski is our technician and photographer. She is a certified ophthalmic assistant with over 10 years experience and is also certified in Visual Acuity for the RISE Study.
Alison Howard is Certified Center Coordinator for the Harbor Study. This study looks at different dosing and concentrations of Lucentis for the treatment of wet macular degeneration. She is also involved in daily office management. She is a graduate of University of Massachusetts at Amherst. She is a member of the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology.
