This lecture will discuss all the details required for an ophthalmic imager and ophthalmic photographer how to properly prepare an ‘OCT image Portfolio”, using the 'Heidelberg Spectralis OCT Imaging Device, Mode 3'.
A properly prepared OCT Portfolio of images is one of 3 requirements by the OPS Board of Certification [BOD] for those seeking their certification as an 'OCT-C'. It is an absolute necessary for those seeking to submit for their Certification submission, and must meet rigorous standards of the BOC for any candidate applying to take the comprehensive written examination known as the ‘OCT-C Certification Examination’.
Mr. Soque brings over 35 years of Ophthalmic Imaging experience to the Island Retina practice of Dr. Pamela Weber, and is a highly sought after lecturer in FA, OCT and Ultrawide Field Imaging, as well as Ophthalmic Assisting and Surgery.
After the lecture concludes, Mr. Soque will be answering questions from the audience on behalf of the BOE, and will be joined by BOC representative Mr. Don Kuitula, from Heidelberg Engineering, and Ms. Tamera Schoenholz, from the OPS Board of Certification.
